Welcome

Marieke A. Helmich

Hi!

I am Marieke Helmich, a researcher who is now working as a postdoc in at the University of Oslo, Norway.

My work is aimed at understanding idiographic change in depression, such as mood and symptom improvement in intensive longitudinal data, measured with Ecological Momentary Assessments (EMA). Currently, my research focuses on examining the trajectories of individual time series and drawing on complex dynamical systems theory and psychotherapy research.

In my free time, I love to spend time in nature, bouldering (rock climbing), cooking, spending time with friends, playing video and board games and sleeping. I also keep busy with creative hobbies, such as painting, photography, and sewing, and I keep a mini jungle of plants in my flat.
